Litter
NOTICE TO MEMBERS
This may be a simple misunderstanding but let this be an end to it:
- Under no circumstances use the bin at the caravan site at Stubby Leas Pool
for your litter. This bin is only for the use of booked caravan site users. Take of all of your
rubbish away with you. None of the SCAS waters have bins placed by the Society, so this
applies to all of our waters. It is Rule 13 (h) of our Rules.
- If you use the tap at Stubby Leas Pool please turn it off fully when you have finished
filling your container.
- Evidence of recent fires on the ground been noticed at Stubby Leas Pool.
As has clearly been stated before, the damage resulting from a brushfire would probably quite rightly lead to loss of our fishing rights. Do not light fires at any of the Societys’ waters. Fuelled appliances eg gas stoves are fine, carefully used. The difference is that they don’t usually generate cinders or sparks. It is Rule 13 (g) of our Rules.
Finally, in view of the above, take a bit of time to read the Societys’ Rules, particularly
if you are a new member. They have taken the lifetime of the Society to evolve and continue
to do so. They are readily available on the Societys’ website without having to log in.
