Stubby Leas temporary closure for Music Festival
Midnight Thursday 25th May 2023 to Midnight Sunday 4th June 2023
Our riparian owner of Stubby Leas and the surrounding fields has given permission for a small music festival on the meadow next to the lake on the above dates.
We have agreed to his request to close the lake for all angling and access by members during this period.
The festival organiser and our landowner both have the requisite public liability insurance and have agreed to clear all litter and repair bankside damage if this should occur.
Apologies to everyone for having to close the lake for a week but unfortunately the landowner has the say in these matters.
